I love the colors- the background blue contrasting with the flower itself... and it's absolutely beautiful how the blue seems to start consuming the flower (the stem, some of the lower leaves...) Almost like the chill of death is taking over the aged flower.
I also like the way your focus works- sometimes in a blur, sometimes sharp and unassuming. Really a nice touch.
You truly have captured beauty in a everyday thing- but went above and beyond and captured beauty in a dying thing. Dead flowers are what we pull out of our gardens and toss out, but you have made this flower worth keeping.
